I had heard that The Break has fun experiences to keep you busy and occupied, and I wasn’t disappointed. Getting there is a piece of cake—you walk through Harborside Pool Club, next to the water slides and FlowRider surfing. Upstairs is The Break, which has views of the Intracoastal on one side, and people floating by on the lazy river on the other. When my brother, Oscar, and I arrived, we first headed over to the rotating TikTok platform, which had many features, including multiple angles and bright lights. You stand in the center, place your phone on the spinning arm, and let the magic happen. I’ve never seen anything like it. We chose a song and danced on the platform while the camera spun. You can make 360-degree videos that can even be in slow motion.
I then sat at the Xbox station, which had loads of action-packed thrillers. I got to play a game called Rocket League, which was virtual soccer but in a rocket-fueled race car. The games were amazing, and I had a blast! (If you are feeling old-school, The Break also has a collection of classic board games like Mancala and Pictionary.)
