The sky is the limit at The Boca Raton’s new Tower Suite Collection.

Someone once told me that “changing your perspective changes your experience.” If that’s the case, then consider my travel experience fully morphed after a stay at the Tower Suite Collection. Nestled among the clouds, the Tower Suite Collection ranges from spacious one-bedroom suites to signature suites on the 23rd through 26th floors of Tower, the 27-story building whose soft pink façade has defined Boca Raton’s skyline for decades.

It was the view that overtook us initially. A stay in our suite allowed our family’s entrance to Top of the Tower, a private lounge on the top floor limited to Tower Suite Collection guests. Stepping off the elevator and walking into the exclusive Top of the Tower, we let out a collective “Wow,” when we saw the vista: sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean’s turquoise blue waters and Florida scenic coastline to our east, and a picturesque undulating 18-hole golf course to our west. To see the same ocean I grew up swimming in— one I have visited countless times and have since introduced my own children to—from this new, elevated vantage point was a feast for my eyes.

“It truly is special here,” said Samantha Seetaram, director of Tower Suite Collection, as she warmly greeted us upon arrival. “There’s no other place in the area where
you can experience this view.” And she’s right: Tower is the tallest building in the city, and it’s a special feeling taking in the unobstructed sights from the highest floor that Boca Raton has to offer. If the views at the 27th floor lounge are a visual feast, then consider the other amenities at Top of the Tower.

Originally opened as a restaurant decades ago, today Top of the Tower has been reimagined as more of an experience than a sole dining outlet. During the day from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, an array of complimentary beverage and culinary items highlighting global cuisine awaited our family at self-serve stations. These included complimentary breakfast and light bites, but the complimentary hors d’oeuvres (and there is an additional a la carte option) created by Chef Mirella Flores and her culinary team were a special treat, with a rotating menu that included dumplings, Mediterranean-inspired salads, and Central American delights. Chef Mirella herself is a Peruvian native who brings international flair and exciting flavors to the evolving options.

My husband and I appreciated the curated Moët & Chandon beverage menu that, coupled with personal service from a dedicated butler and concierge team, paired beautifully with the large selection of wine, Champagne, and cocktails.

In addition, Top of the Tower allows guests to access curated private programming, like British High Tea, wine tastings, and cooking demos. There’s even an Assouline library filled with travel-inspired books to spark ideas for your next global vacation. On select weekend nights after 7:30 pm, expect to hear live music in the intimate setting, which is when Top of the Tower turns into a vibrant cocktail lounge serving a la carte tapas.

The expansive suites themselves are testament to a contemporary coastal vision by Rockwell Group, known for the sleek designs of several Nobu restaurants and high-end hotels around the world. Tower Suite Collection features guestrooms that range from one-bedroom suites to signature suites that include a three- bedroom Ocean View Townhouse with a double-height ceiling.

Our family peeked outside the windows in our suite to see boaters cruising along Lake Boca Raton and golfers teeing off at the course. I took a glance at my kids’ reactions to the views, and seeing their awe and appreciation of their new vantage point took my own breath away. Perhaps one day they will appreciate a change of scenery as much as I am now. Either way, it goes to show the impact of a new perspective.
