Step into the next chapter of golf excellence as The Boca Raton embarks on a bold reimagination of our historic championship course. Starting April 7, 2026, the course will close for enhancements and is projected to reopen Fall 2026 with refreshed strategy, playability, and beauty, without losing its timeless character.

A New Standard of Play

The reimagination of The Boca Raton’s golf course is designed to deliver both strategic brilliance and exceptional year-round conditions. Approximately one-third of the holes will be reimagined, introducing refined strategy and visual interest, while the remaining holes will retain their original routing, enhanced through careful reshaping.

In addition to introducing a more thoughtfully challenging layout, the project includes the installation of a new, modern irrigation system and the latest advanced turf grasses throughout the course. The upgraded irrigation system will allow for precise, independent moisture management across greens, fairways, and rough, eliminating the limitations of the current design and promoting firmer fairways and healthier turf. Greens will feature TifTuf 3D, a newer Bermuda variety known for its minimal grain, resulting in faster, smoother, and more consistent speeds. Once fully matured, these enhancements are expected to position The Boca Raton Golf Club among the best-conditioned courses in the area.

Golf Experiences Continue Throughout Course Reimagination

While the golf course undergoes its exciting reimagination, Club members and resort guests may continue to enjoy a lineup of golf amenities at the driving range. Offerings include full driving range access, TaylorMade private club fittings, daily golf clinics (with schedules announced seasonally), group clinics and TrackMan Range experiences, as well as private golf lessons. These experiences will remain available until the driving range temporarily closes in September for its own renovation, with a reopening anticipated in late fall.

The Vision Behind the Reimagination

We have engaged renowned golf architect, Brian Silva, to lead a comprehensive master-plan reimagination of our golf course. Silva specializes in restoring courses to their original, vintage design roots and is widely regarded for his expertise in Donald Ross-designed courses. Silva’s approach will focus on preserving the integrity of the original layout while enhancing playability, flow, and long-term sustainability. His work has earned multiple Golf Digest Renovation of the Year honors, recognizing projects that elevate strategy, beauty, and the golfer experience, without losing the soul of the original course.
